Fans were delighted when a renowned DJ and musician stopped off in Bridport to sign records and entertain with a DJ set.

Dub Pistols' Barry Ashworth was the guest of honour at Bridport Music Centre ahead of the third Record Store Day this year.

He signed vinyl and CD copies of the band's new release 'Addict'.

Jane Wain of Bridport Music Centre said: "My husband has played in quite a few bands, so he met Barry Ashworth, the lead singer, on occasion and we have a mutual friend and they suggested if we would like to host a record signing, which of course we were over the moon to do and it was a great turnout.

"It was a bit stressful because I was worried due to the Covid situation but everyone was really well behaved, Barry did a DJ set and signing and gave us lots of CDs and vinyl, which was fantastic.

"It was a really great little boost for our shop, which of course is fantastic, and the people of Bridport are always amazing because they support us so well.

"We have still got CDs available, all signed and at a reduced price, and they left us with lots of merch t-shirts."
