Bridport Fiver Fest

Twenty-seven local independent businesses have joined Bridport's fifth Fiver Fest which starts on the 9th of October and runs for two weeks. The Fiver Fest message is all about taking a minute to think about how we can all contribute to keeping Bridport a healthy vibrant town. It only takes a fiver spent in the right place to make a difference. Totally Locally HQ has done the sums for Bridport and the message is that if every adult in the town and the surrounding villages spent a fiver in independent businesses instead of online or in supermarkets we could add a whopping 2.6 million to the local economy.

The Fiver Fest event is designed to get you thinking and a chance to discover where you could spend that fiver with opportunities to try something new. You can view the shopping booklet online this year by scanning a QR code in any of the businesses taking part or pick up a paper copy at The Tourist Information Centre. Look out for Fiver Fest posters and displays in shop windows.
