Bowie comes to Bridport: Clocktower Too showcases its brilliant new wax work

Local News by Lottie Welch 9th Dec 2021

Bowie has been beamed into Bridport, taking up residence in a music shop.

Clocktower Too has welcomed a life-sized wax work figure of David Bowie, created by Mike Wade of Bridport, a former member of the Madame Tussauds Studio.

He is following the theme of Clocktower Too, wearing a space suit and taking pride of place in the South Street shop which specialises in CDs, memorabilia and vinyl.

Clocktower Too is the 'young apprentice' of Clocktower Music in St Michael's Trading Estate, owned by Roy Gregory, and opened this autumn.

Pop in and see Bowie for yourself, with the shop open 9.30am to 3.30pm Wednesday to Saturday.

For more information, follow Clocktower Too on Facebook, where you can also see the shop's brilliant promo video.
