A brand-new networking event starts this month giving an opportunity for local business owners to meet and catch up.

It is a collaboration between Bridport Business Chamber, The Design Yard, Bridget Long Companies and BridportMATE.

A spokesman for the event said: "We're hoping to make it a regular event, maybe monthly, and we have two great speakers lined up for this launch event - Luke Hayter of Luke Hayter Fitness and Patrick Walsh, a young filmmaker, podcaster and social media expert. They'll be talking about using social media and improving your online presence."

The event will be held at the Bull Hotel on Thursday, January 20 from 6.30pm and there will be drinks and a buffet.
