Massive thanks to all those who supported Groves Nurseries' Christmas tree appeal

Groves Nurseries is thanking all the businesses that have supported its Christmas Tree appeal.

The family-run garden centre put out an appeal to ask local businesses to sponsor a Christmas to donate to local good causes. It received an over-whelming amount of responses from businesses that wanted to help.

Thanks to the support of local companies, 25 trees have been donated to schools and charities, chosen at random.

Charlie Groves, managing director of Groves Nurseries, said: "Every year we are asked to donate trees to well-deserving organisations. We have always done what we can, but this appeal has allowed us to work with some amazing local businesses so that far more good causes can benefit than normal.

"It was fantastic to see the pictures of the trees come back after we delivered them last week. All decorated and taking pride of place in their new festive homes.

"I would just like to thank all of the businesses that stepped forward to make this appeal such a success."

  • Bredy Vets - Wonderland Day Nursery
  • Groves Nurseries - Bridport Community Hospital
