Age UK North, South and West Dorset will be hosting a pop-up event at The United Church in East Street, Bridport, next week for residents to find out more about a Winter Wellbeing scheme the charity is offering.

The has charity secured funding from the National Grid's Community Matters Fund to support residents of the Bridport area with keeping well this winter.

The scheme includes free information and advice around keeping well in winter, as well as a DBS checked handy person who can help to make your home more energy efficient, as well as free welfare benefits advice to help residents maximise their income.

The drop-in event will take place on Wednesday, February 22 from 10am to 12noon and staff will be on hand to give more information about the service and take referrals.
