Bridport Community Orchard's annual Apple Day has always been a great autumn get together to enjoy the town's apple juice around a fire, but it won't be going ahead this year.
For the first year ever, Bridport Community Orchard has been totally self-sufficient in the supply of its own organically grown apples that have been pressed into bottled juice.
Although the much-loved Apple Day has been cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions, members of Bridport Community Orchard will be having a stall at the farmers' market in Barrack Street on Saturday, October 10. Here you can purchase bottles of the juice along with apple-themed cakes, preserves, jams, fresh apples and postcards. This could also be a good opportunity to buy some early Christmas presents.
The team will also have a stall at the farmers' market on November 14.
