Bell tent camping could be coming to Symondsbury

A small campsite with eight bell tents is being requested for Manor Yard off Mill Lane at Symonsbury.

Dorset Council is being asked to agree a change of use for Symondsbury Estate to allow the site to be used for camping year-round.

Parish councillors are supporting the application saying the site has already been landscaped and has a shepherd's hut on it to be used for toilets and showers.
