The Bloomin' Greenwash Travelling Circus will be stopping off in Bridport on Saturday as it highlights the need for the world's leaders to do more about climate change.

The group is travelling on their boat/bicycle from West Sussex to St Ives in Cornwall for the G7 conference to send a message to the leaders.

A spokesman for the group said: "The G7, leaders of the world's richest nations are meeting in Cornwall on June 11 to 13. The message to them is clear, they must step up their ambitions and make good on their promises to deal with the climate and ecological emergency we are all facing.

"We are drowning in their promises, so the travelling circus is taking to their boat come bicycle to take the message to them."

Along the way they will be greeted by supporters for some entertainment and for people to give them their messages to deliver.

They will arrive in Bridport at around 11.30am on Saturday, June 5.
