West Bay Days and Bridport Round Table present Bonfire by the Beach at West Bay

Bonfire season kicks off in Bridport with a popular annual beach event.

Bonfire by the Beach will be taking place at West Bay's East Beach on Saturday 29th October.

From 4pm there will be food outlets and an outside bar, with live music starting at 4pm until 9:30pm. There will be a Guy Fawkes competition, with judging in front of the stage at 6pm, and the winner will light the bonfire.

Visitors can also enjoy a fun fair which will be at West Bay from October 22nd until the 30th.

A free bus from Bridport to West Bay will leave the bus station from 5pm until 9:50pm and the fireworks display will start at around 8pm.

Bridport Round Table posted on social media: "We are super excited to be putting on the best Bonfire By The Beach event ever and we thank all of the local people and businesses for their support and sponsorship in making this community event in half-term go ahead, it really can't happen without you. See you all from 4pm for beer, music, food, bonfire and fireworks."
