Bridport: Application submitted for second time to create art studio extension

An art studio extension is being proposed at 19 Valley Road, Bridport, for a second time – with a new bedroom on the opposite side to the rear of the bungalow.

The new application follows on from a previous request for a larger art studio as an extension of the garage which was refused at appeal.

Documents with the new application say the revised scheme has taken into account the previous planning inspector's decision letter and has created a proposal which has reduced the impact on the adjoining neighbours and on the street scene.

The application, ref 2021/05432, can be viewed on the Dorset Council website where comments can also be made until January 26.
