There will be changes to libraries, sports centres, and recycling centres on the day of the Queen's funeral.

The following will be affected:
Schools and colleges
All Dorset schools and colleges (including related transport arrangements) will be closed on Monday 19th September.
Bin collections
There will be no kerbside bin collections of any kind on Monday (19th).

Weymouth Household Recycling Centre (HRC) will be closed on Sunday 18th September for an Ironman event, with access to Dorchester HRC potentially disrupted too. Dorset Council recommends delaying your visit or using an alternative open HRC.
All Dorset Council HRCs will be closed all day Monday 19th September.
Libraries
Libraries will be closed on Monday (19th).
Country parks
Dorset Council's country parks will be accessible to the public. However, on-site concessions such as visitor centres, cafés, and other leisure facilities will be closed.
