Bridport charity creates and produces special event for World Mental Health Day

The Burrough Harmony Centre, a mental health and wellbeing charity, has created and produced a special event for World Mental Health Day.

The Bridport-based charity presents Around The Mind in 80 Days, a unique stage and screen arts event exploring mental health.

A spokesman said: "We aim to reach as many individuals as possible on World Mental Health Day. Giving hope to those struggling with their own mental health, highlighting the importance of sharing our own stories of mental health to help others. Offering support through awareness of the great work we do."

Around The Mind in 80 Days will be shown at Bridport Arts Centre on Monday, October 10 from 7pm.

The production shows real life stories, created and performed by those with lived experience of mental illness, portraying their inner most thoughts and feelings, hopes and triumphs.
