Bridport: Coast road blocked after crash involving motorbike

Bramdon Lane on the B3157 coast road in Portesham is blocked both ways following a crash.

Travel Dorset reports traffic is queuing from Nottington Lane to the Rodden turn off due to the collision involving a motorcycle.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 10.10am to a report of a collision involving a tractor and a motorcycle on the B3157 between Portersham and Chickerell.

"Officers have attended, along with the ambulance service. Road closures have been put in place as the emergency services respond to the incident.

"One man has been taken to hospital by air ambulance with injuries that are believed to be serious. Officers are still at the scene."

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
