Bridport Town Council's Energy Champions will be on hand at a family-friendly pop-up cafe this week, offering tips on how to save energy and cut down your household bills.

The pop-up cafe event will be held at the Scout Hall, 155 St Swithuns Road, from 3.30pm to 6pm on Thursday, March 23.

The Energy Champions will be offering energy saving ideas over tea, coffee and biscuits, and you can arrange for a free visit to your home to find out where your problem cold spots are using a thermal imaging camera.

The event will also include children's craft activities run by Oops Wow Messy Art and you can sample slow-cooked food, get recipe ideas and enter a free draw to win a slow cooker.
