A busy summer season for Bridport business Gavin Dixon Finance Solutions is already underway. 

Gavin Dixon, who set up the company in 2013, strongly believes in giving something back to the community in which he grew up. 

Having been educated locally in Bridport with a background in farming, Gavin started working in the finance sector in 2001 and has more than 20 years experience in the business-to-business finance market, specialising in the agricultural industry.

He worked for two of the largest finance companies in the UK, BNP Paribas Lease Group and Hitachi Capital Business Finance, before returning to his hometown to start his own business. 

This year marking 10 years of success in the local community, the business is keen to give something back. To that end, it is sponsoring a number of local events and organisations this summer. 

Local events to receive the support of Gavin Dixon Finance Solutions (GDFS) include the Cattistock Point to Point, Jurassic Fields, the Melplash Show and Bridport Beer Festival. The company is also a Salwayash Village Hall window sponsor and supports Bridport 3X3 Basket Ball.

Gavin and the team will also be the headline sponsor at next year's West Country Farming and Machinery Show.
