A call out for Bridport Fire Station yesterday after a tea towel caught fire in a property on Pymore Road.
The fire station were mobilised just before 3pm yesterday afternoon (6th) after a neighbour heard an alarm and saw smoke coming from the window.
Crews forced entry to the property with breathing apparatus and found a tea towel on fire on the kitchen hob.
"This was extinguished by removal. A PPV (positive pressure ventilation) fan was used to ventilate the property. Always ensure flammable materials are not left on or near hot surfaces," a spokesperson for the station said.
