Bridport Folk Festival kicks off tomorrow (Friday) for three days of music and entertainment.

With stages in Bucky Doo Square, Bridport Millennium Green and the Borough Gardens, music, dance and activities will fill the town.

Dances and concerts are also being held on the town hall, festival marquee, WI Hall and church house.

Programmes with the whole line-up of events and times are available from Bridport Tourist Information Centre.

This year the festival is raising money for Harmony Mental Health, which provides peer support for people living with mental health problems in West Dorset.

Tickets are still available for Reg Meuross and Helena Softley at the town hall on Friday night, The Countrymen and Antoine and Owena at the town hall on Saturday and Merry Hell and Captains Beard on the Millennium Green on Saturday. Tickets can be found at bridportandwestbay.co.uk or at Bridport Tourist Information Centre.

During the festival, Downes Street and Barrack Street will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.
