Be a part of change and a global day of action and cycle through the streets of Bridport.
West Dorset Friends of the Earth is encouraging experienced road cyclists to join members tomorrow (Saturday, November 6) and ride through the town centre as COP26 moves into its first weekend.
A spokesman for the event said: "We hope that 40 to 50 cyclists will be led by the Cycling Without Age trishaw, taking a direct route through the town, before crossing Asker Meadows.
"The cyclists will remind Saturday shoppers that the UK and the international community are engaged in a high stakes conference to save our planet.
"We want to be seen, but not to cause obstruction."
Materials for signs and pre-printed signs will be available at the meeting point at the football club car park. The group will meet there at 11am and head out by 11.45am, finishing around 12.30pm in Bridport Community Orchard for refreshments and a chat.
There will be leafleting by non-riders before and during the event. Register to ride or leaflet with Sarah Mackinnon on [email protected]
