Bridport Gig Club to host annual regatta this weekend
Bridport Gig Club are looking forward to their annual regatta
Bridport Gig Club will be hosting its annual regatta in West Bay on Saturday, July 15.
Local gig rowers will be competing with 10 other teams from the across the South West in a series of races during the day.
All are welcome to come and watch the racing from the shore, where there will be a number of activities next to the Salt House, including a barbecue, teas and coffees, cake, sandwiches and a tombola.
The club are raising funds for a new wooden racing gig, which is due later this year.
They have had a great season so far with the team coming second in the recent Swanage regatta.
