Bridport mental health charity, The Burrough Harmony Centre, offers peer support, information, signposting and lots of enjoyable activities to local people who are living with mental health problems.

The charity's staff and volunteers are led by a board of trustees, which is now looking to appoint a new member.

One of the founding trustees, Alison Williams retired recently, having come to the end of her second three-year term of office and a replacement is now being sought.

Chair of trustees, Jane Brennan, said: "We are very thankful for the valuable work that Alison put in over the years to establish Harmony as an effective provider of services to Bridport people. I'm going to miss her.

"We hope to find a new trustee with similar skills and dedication."

There will be an induction process to help the new trustee settle into the role.

Amongst other activities, Harmony holds drop-In sessions and runs a Community Front Room from premises in Gundry Lane, Bridport.
