Bridport planning decisions

PLANS for a new home, a series of house extensions and repairs to listed buildings are among the latest Bridport area planning decisions approved by Dorset Council.
The decisions include permission for a new home and garage on land between 13 and 17 Hardy Road, Bridport, under application P/FUL/2026/01154. The approval also includes temporary permission for a caravan to be occupied during construction for up to three years.
Several household schemes have also been granted. These include a two-storey rear extension at 10 Beaumont Avenue, P/HOU/2026/02628; a single-storey extension and associated works at Harbour Lights, Coneygar Park, P/HOU/2026/02866; and a porch canopy, garage, workshop and potting shed at The Old Stables, Delapre, St Andrews Road, P/HOU/2026/02206.
Listed building consent has been granted for replacement rooflights at Priory Mills, Priory Lane, P/LBC/2026/03255, and for internal ceiling repair works at 51 East Street, P/LBC/2026/02493. Further listed building consent was approved for improvements to a loft room and extension of a kitchen into an adjoining store room or workshop at 89 East Street, P/LBC/2026/02429.
Other approvals in Bridport include a garden studio or office at 105 East Street, P/HOU/2026/02402; a double-storey rear extension at 8 Court Orchard Road, P/HOU/2026/02472; and householder and listed building works at 69 South Street, P/HOU/2026/02697 and P/LBC/2026/02698.
Permission was also granted for a replacement single-storey extension and external alterations at 18 Lansdowne Road, P/HOU/2026/03254; rear decking at 34 Crock Lane, P/HOU/2026/03116; extensions and associated works at 6 Elwell, P/HOU/2026/03466; conversion of a bungalow at 22 Bowhayes, P/HOU/2026/01178; and replacement sun room works at Wych End, Wych Hill, P/HOU/2026/03711.
