Bridport Police warning after van break-in

Bridport Police have issued security advice to vehicle owners after a van was recently broken into.

The incident is reported to have happened in the Thorncombe area between 8th and 9th October.

The van was parked in an isolated area. Tools were also stolen.

A spokesperson for Bridport Police said: "For crime prevention, please do not leave any items of value in unattended vehicles, especially in isolated areas. If anyone would like further security advice, please contact us.

"Finally, please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to us, at the time. you can call 101, or report on the Dorset Police website (above), or call 999 if you believe a crime is in progress."
