The community of Bridport turned up in numbers to pay respect to those who gave their lives in conflicts around the globe.

There was a large turnout to support a parade from East Street to the war memorial on South Street for a tribute and wreath-laying ceremony.

Accompanied by the Wessex Military Band, the parade followed inspection by the Town Mayor, Cllr Ian Bark. The Mayor will led the Parade and then gave an address at the war memorial.

A Service of Remembrance followed in St Mary's Church.
