Organisers of Bridport's popular and much-loved music festival, Jurassic Fields, have added another great act to its line-up of headliners.

Scouting for Girls, known for hits including 'She's So Lovely', 'Elvis Ain't Dead' and 'Heartbeat' will be in Bridport performing live on Sunday, July 10.

The popular band joins The Pigeon Detectives, Friday night's headliners, and Dr Meaker.

The news comes after organisers announced The Hoosiers were unable to make the festival due to a "scheduling technicality".

They said: "We tried extremely hard to fit them in to the line-up but were unable to find a slot suitable that would fit in with their schedule. We do however have plans in the pipeline to bring them back to our new site in 2023."

Jurassic Fields returns to Asker Meadows on July 8, 9 and 10, after being cancelled for the past two years due to Covid, and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

As well as top acts across a number of stages, the festival also showcases the best comedy, entertainment and food the local area has to offer.

Tickets are on sale now for the 2022 event and are available here.
