Three fire crews, including Bridport, were called to a car crash on the A35 yesterday afternoon.

At around 4.10pm, crews from Dorchester, Bridport and Maiden Newton responded to the crash by Kingston Russell.

A spokesman for Dorchester Fire Station said: "Once in attendance, crews found there had been a collision between two cars with one ending up on its side in field. Luckily there was no one trapped and only minor injuries.

"Crews then made the scene safe and did traffic management until the police took over."
