Three West Dorset restaurants will continue to have coronavirus measures in place to keep customers and staff safe despite Plan B measures being removed from today (Thursday).

Hive Beach Café in Burton Bradstock, The Watch House Café in West Bay and The Club House Restaurant in West Bexington want to keep a safe space and reassure customers, particularly those that may be vulnerable.

A spokesman for The Hive Company, which owns the three sites, said: "All three sites will continue to offer temperature checks and recommend face masks and we kindly request that you continue to wear face masks to protect our staff and those around you. Thank you for your co-operation."

The Plan B measures included people being advised to work from home, face masks being mandatory in shops and the need for Covid passes at venues and events.
