Every week should be encouraged as 'local shopping week', but Totally Locally Bridport has found a way to make all the weeks of May extra special for local businesses and shoppers.

As a culmination of their year-long Magic Tenner campaign – raising awareness of how spending just £10 locally can generate a substantial boost for the local economy – the Totally Locally Bridport team has organised a shopping trail around the town and free prize draw.

It's simple to join in – just collect your card from Bridport Tourist Information Centre or at any of the participating businesses.

Shoppers will receive one stamp for spending £10 or more with a participating business. When they have filled their card with six different stamps, they can enter the prize draw, to be held on June 1, with more than 15 prizes worth £50 each up for grabs.

Throughout the month, shoppers can collect loyalty card stamps for spends of £10 or over in any of the 80 participating businesses. Loyalty cards are completed by collecting six different stamps or stickers and once handed in to Bridport TIC they are automatically entered into the free prize draw. 

Winners can expect to receive goods, services or voucher sets worth £50 or more from a range of local businesses. Categories including: Restaurants & Cafés, Clothing, Well Being, Art & Craft, Home & Garden, Sport & Leisure, Antiques & Retro, Leisure & Entertainment, Services, Health & Beauty, Pet Care and Gifts & Stationary.
