The annual Blue Light Carol Service was able to go ahead virtually on YouTube.

In Bridport, divisional police chaplain Philip Ringer and Inspector Darren Stanton worked with churchwarden Gary Hepburn of Wyke Regis to produce the service this year on December 17.

The Blue Light Carol Service was started 11 years ago in Bridport. It enables all members of the emergency services, their friends, family and supporters to come together at St Mary's Church for a special service and to celebrate the work of the emergency services - of which many will be on call on Christmas Day.

The service raises money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and donations can be made here
