New 'bubble swimming sessions' will soon be coming to Bridport Leisure Centre.

They will be held during the weekends and six people – a maximum of two adults and four children – will have a part of the pool for exclusive use.

There will be one bubble session in the main pool across two lanes and one that will have exclusive use of the learner pool. Each bubble will have exclusive use of a changing room.

Sessions cost £12.50 and can be made up to eight days in advance by calling 01308 427464 only.

They will start on Saturday, October 24 and take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 11am and 12noon to 1pm.

• Bridport Leisure Centre's car park is closed today (Friday) until 4pm to allow essential repair work to be carried out. Customers are asked to make alternative travel arrangements or use the nearby St Mary's/Football Club car park.
