Children's fun runs to raise funds for Bridport Ladies Circle

Bridport Rugby Club will host a children's fun run and fun day on Sunday, May 14 to raise funds for Bridport Ladies Circle, supporting local and global causes.

The event will be held at the club's ground in Skilling Hill Road from 1pm to 4pm.

Children are encouraged to take are encouraged to take part in fun run races for just £1 – either running, walking or skipping.

An exciting special guest yet to be announced set to join them and take part in the warm ups.

Registration for the fun runs will be open from 1pm to 1.45pm on the day of the event, with the races starting as follows:

2-4 years - warm up 1.55pm, run start 2pm

5-7 years - warm up 2.15pm, run start 2.20pm

8-11 years - warm up 2.40pm, run start 2.45pm

Under 2 baby run - 3pm

Winners will be announced at 3.30pm and each entrant receiving a medal for taking part and winners receiving a certificate, prize and medal.

Alongside the fun run there will be a fete with refreshments and games for all the family, as well as a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
