Bridport Christmas Cheer-Up

The traditional Bridport Christmas Cheer evening event won't be going ahead this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but there will still be a lot to get involved with - bingo, Christmas lights switch-on, best shop window display and much more.

Santa will be back at Groves Nurseries this year - hosting a barbecue at the Ivy House Kitchen every Thursday before Christmas.

Meet the makers at Artyfacts Studios in St Michael's Lane. The studios will be open until 7pm on December 2, 9 and 16, also offering mince pies and wine.

It has been made into a two-day event this year, taking place on December 4 and 5. Enjoy live music, and range of stalls for Christmas gifts and more.

Join The Elizabethan Singers for an afternoon of Christmas carols at St Mary's Church on December 5.

Symondsbury Estate is partnering with Emma Dixon, the resident River Cottage florist, to bring three nights of festive wreath making - December 7, 8 and 9.

Ghost stories at Christmas were once a strong tradition, so join the Christmas ghost walk on December 7 for an hour of chilling true tales and dark history.
