Walkers along the coast path are being urged to be careful of cliff falls, especially in wet weather.

A crack has appeared on the cliff in West Bay.

A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "We've put a cordon in place along a section of cliff near Highlands End Holiday Park, West Bay, due to a crack opening up. You can still pass using the coastal path, our rangers are monitoring any further movement."

Cliffs are very unstable, particularly after wet weather, and people are urged to stay away from the edge and keep clear of the base of the cliff.
