Coroner appeals for next of kin of Morcombelake man

The coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who lived in Morcombelake, near Bridport.

Charles Watt Cowie, who was 82 years old, died at his home address in Star Lane, Morcombelake, on Tuesday, March 28.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.

Coroner's officer Lucy Manuel said: "We are not treating the death as suspicious, however, we have not been able to locate his next of kin.

"If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900."
