To celebrate its fifth birthday, Bridport cocktail bar DarkBear has distilled their own gin in Dorset to serve at the bar and for guests to take home.

Made using nine botanicals, the gin is designed to be drunk neat, with tonic or in cocktails and at a stronger 43% it ticks all of those boxes.

The gin is citrus forward with flavours of orange and lemon, plus thyme and pink peppercorn.

The team have also created a vodka and Navy strength gin at a whopping 57%.

To grab this latest Dorset gin either head down to the bar at 115 East Street, just below the Bridgehouse Hotel, or order online at www.darkbear.shop for local delivery and UK wide shipping.

Not a fan of gin? The DarkBear stocks more than 200 high quality rums as well as an award-winning cocktail menu, and has been named runner up for best bar in the UK multiple times.

The cocktail bar also has some special events coming up, including Clement and Ninefold Rum Masterclasses, and a Matt Berry theme pre-dinner mystery menu of five cocktails for £25. See the Bridport Nub News What's On section for full details.

The DarkBear team also offers a bar to your door service, where you can save the taxi fare and have the 'bears' shake up cocktails in the comfort of your own home.
