Set on the iconic Chesil Beach in West Bexington, The Club House is the perfect place to blow away those Christmas cobwebs for a special Boxing Day lunch. 

The seafront Art Deco restaurant – recently award ed two AA Rosettes named in the Michelin Guide – and will be serving a special one-off menu, showing off the best of local seafood and something a little different to the traditional Christmas dishes.

Dishes will include pan-seared scallops or seafood chowder to start; main courses of crispy crabs cakes, grilled skate wing, tempura battered hake and chips and spiced lamb curry; and delicious desserts including orange and ginger cheesecake, whisky sticky toffee pudding or apple pie with cream.

The Club House will also be open for breakfast and lunch on New Year's Eve and for Sunday lunch on New Year's Day with two courses for £20.

The Club House's sister restaurant, The Watch House on West Bay beach, will also be open on Boxing Day for crowds to warm up after the annual West Bay Wallow dip in the sea at 12noon.

The beachside café will be serving up its more relaxed menu of freshly made wood-fired pizzas, twirl Italian style pasta dishes, classic fish and chips and cocktails.

Making up this trio of Jurassic Coast restaurants is The Hive Beach Cafe in Burton Bradstock, which will remain open throughout the festive period serving its daily-changing menu of fresh fish dishes alongside a selection of largers, ales, vodka, gin, and plenty of other Christas tipples!
