Dorset councillor Belinda Bawden will be giving a talk in West Bay this week on two campaigns to fight pollution in local rivers.

The Green Party councillor for Lyme Regis and Charmouth will give a talk called 'Fighting River Pollution - Citizen Science in Action' at Sladers Yard in West Bay, from 7pm on Wednesday, April 12.

The talk will cover the work carried out by he River Lim Action Group in Lyme Regis, and the River Char Community Group in Charmouth, including their successes, continuing campaigns and community engagement.

Doors open at 6pm with hot snacks and a bar available, with the talk to start at 7pm.

Tickets cost £10 or £5 for concessions and under 21s, with all proceeds going to Dorset Climate Action Network.
