The Kingcombe Centre's new Humble Bee Café has opened and is welcoming visitors to the Dorset Wildlife Centre's nature reserve.

The café at the centre near Toller Porcorum uses locally sourced ingredients to offer breakfast, lunch and refreshments, an ideal stop-off before or after a walk exploring the 450-acre nature reserve.

The charity's visitor centres are also now fully open and running a variety of events.

The Fine Foundation Chesil Beach Centre will be taking part in Dorset Art Weeks from May 22 to June 6 with a 'Dorset Wildlife' art exhibition, featuring artwork created by local artists inspired by the wildlife and natural landscapes in Dorset.

On Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23, why not try a bubble beach clean as part of Litter Free Coast and Sea's Great Dorset Beach Clean? Events are being held on Chesil beach, as well as Seatown, Cogden and Charmouth. Find out more information here.

The Fine Foundation Wild Seas Centre at Kimmeridge has opened for the first time this year and visitors can expect to see some fresh new displays, including an art exhibition by Weymouth artist and scuba-diver Sandra Stalker. Alongside this, a group of local divers and photographers are exhibiting a selection of their work, making normally unseen marine creatures accessible to all.
