Free webinar to give an insight into what's happening in the world of veterinary and animal science

After the success of the series of free webinars at the end of last year, the Melplash Agricultural Society will be running a new series this year.

Starting on Thursday, May 27 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, the topic of the webinar is 'Perspectives on Veterinary Practice – Past, Present & Future'.

Society president Nigel Jones, who will host the evening, said: "It is set to be a unique opportunity to find out about what has and is going on in the world of veterinary and animal science.

"We look forward to welcoming panellists from three local veterinary practices covering small animal, large animal and equine."

The panellists are:

• Peter Aitken BVetMed MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon & Founder of Dorset Equine Veterinary Services

• Phil Boyer MA VetMB GP Cert SAM, Veterinary Surgeon at Kingfisher Veterinary Practice

• Alastair Hayton BVM&S DCHP MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon & Director of Synergy Farm Health
