A range of opportunities working with renowned chef and restaurateur Mark Hix are now available at The Fox Inn and The Oyster & Fish House.

Full and part-time positions, temporary and permanent and front of house and kitchen roles are up for grabs at the Corscombe pub and Lyme Regis Restaurant.

The two venues are recruiting for all positions front and back of house - chefs, waiting staff, bar staff and runners. With some of the senior team relocating, there are also some permanent management roles.

The Fox Inn is a country pub in the village of Corscombe, so applicants will need to be able to drive for these positions. The menu changes regularly based on the seasonal produce from local farmers, foragers, fishermen, or even grown in its own kitchen garden. Its focus is meat and game, along with locally caught fish and seafood.

The Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis looks over the sea and serves locally caught fish and seafood, cocktails and Dorset oysters, with the menu changing daily depending on the fishermen's catch.

As well as a competitive wage, staff enjoy:

• 28 days holiday, rising by one day per year to 33 days

• Staff meals

• Service charge and tips

• Employee discount and complimentary meals

• Pension

• Introduce a friend bonus So, if you have good initiative, strong people skills and are ready to work in a busy, faced-paced restaurant or pub, find out more about the roles at The Fox Inn and The Oyster & Fish House.
