The Allington Hillbillies were out in force on Saturday for the Celebration Weekend at Bridport Co-Op, where they received a cheque for £2,667.98 donated by Co-Op customers.

The cheque was presented by Lesley Windsor, Co-op Pioneer, and the money will go towards conservation work on the Hill as well as running nature clubs for local families and putting on a variety of community events next year.

The Hillbillies are a voluntary organisation working to preserve the beautiful environment of the Hill and to make it accessible to everyone in the community.
