Do you want to make a difference to the people of Bridport?

The team at Bridport Community Hospital is inviting local people to come along to a recruitment event this month and find out more about joining the team as a bank registered nurse or healthcare assistant.

Taking place at the hospital on October 21 and 28 from 9am to 12noon, both events will give attendees the opportunity to meet Matron Ellen Holmes and senior sister Rachel Foxley, find out about the roles and ask questions.

For both roles you would join the team as a Dorset HealthCare bank worker, covering leave and sickness with day and night shifts available.

You would be working on the newly refurbished 24-bed Colmer's Ward, providing rehabilitation support for elderly patients, as well as palliative and end of life care.

Matron Ellen Holmes said: "This is your chance to join your local NHS team and be part of your community hospital, delivering high quality care and making a difference to the people of Dorset.

"And by joining Dorset HealthCare as a bank employee, you can also work in any of the trust's other community hospitals across the county. We offer a range of personal and clinical development opportunities."

View the job descriptions ahead at joindhc.co.uk , search 'bank RGN' for the registered nurse position and 'bank healthcare assistant' for the other.

If you would like to attend a recruitment event, call the hospital on 01308 422371 to book a place. Social distancing guidelines will be in place.
