Local filmmakers to hosts screening and Q&A at Bridport Arts Centre
A short film produced by Bridport residents will be screened at Bridport Arts Centre on Tuesday, September 5.
George Earwicker, who works at Mercato Italiano on the Dreadnought Trading Estate, wrote the short film 'The Third Life', which was produced by a collective of Bridport-based filmmakers and actors and shot locally.
George will be holding a question and answer session after the screening, along with actors Rosie Frascona, Jacob Mellers and Alfie Rose, and director of photography Elliot Millson.
'The Third Life' is a romantic drama examining the relationship between a landowner and a tenant farmer from the perspective of her 12-year-old son. As their relationship evolves, The Lady is faced with the choice between liberation and duty.
The film explores duty, sex, class and love with intimate performances from Jacob Mellers and Rosie Frascona, spectacular photography by Elliot Millson and a soaring score from Lewis Lenk.
