Make the most of being on the Jurassic Coast with a Dinoboard.

The Fossil Shop in West Bay - opposite the Watch House Café - are offering the bellyboards to rent or buy, enabling residents and visitors to have fun in the sea.

The Dinoboards are hand-crafted in Dick Pearce's workshop at Hope Yard in Newquay.

A spokesman for Hive Beach Company said: "The aim is to use long-lasting, sustainable products, and support British manufacturers wherever possible. We're pushing for a lot less single-use plastic and a lot more sustainability.

"Dick Pearce works with Surfers Against Sewage in various beach side locations across the UK. This rental project is intended to send out a positive message to beach users about the benefits of sustainability.

"A fun and eco-friendly way to enjoy the beach and the sea without adding more plastic in to the ocean."

The team has lots of boards of all different colours that can be rented out for the day or taken home with you. To rent a board it's a deposit of £10 to be returned to you when you return the board.

The Fossil Shop is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
