Police have thanked those who shared their appeal after the incident

A man has been arrested following an incident of indecent exposure in Beaminster, reported last week.

It is reported that the victim was walking near to Woodswater Lane at about 12.20pm on Wednesday, August 16 when a man indecently exposed himself to the victim through the open window of his vehicle.

Following an appeal and enquiries by officers, a 56-year-old man from Beaminster has now been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.

Dorset Police would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal.
