Emergency services respond to medical incident in West Allington
Emergency services and Bridport Medical Centre staff responded to a medical incident in West Allington this morning.
Bridport Medical Centre staff and volunteers for the Covid-19 vaccination clinic went to a member of the public's aid by Magdalen Lane at around 9am.
A spokesman for Bridport Medical Centre said: "The team have been dealing with an incident this morning.
"Emergency services were in attendance and a member of the public has been taken to hospital.
"Thank you for your understanding while the team and emergency services were dealing with incident."
The road was closed and traffic diverted by volunteers before a fire crew was asked to attend by the South Western Ambulance Service.
Two ambulances and the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance also attended.
They were taken to hospital and their condition is not known.
The road was closed for no more than an hour.
The Covid-19 vaccination clinic was not affected.
