Totally Locally Bridport brings back Fiver Fest this October

Bridport's Fiver Fest returns this Saturday (October 9) and 27 local, independent businesses have signed up.

The town's fifth Fiver Fest runs for two weeks with a range of £5 deals and encourages people to think about how we can all contribute to keeping Bridport a healthy, vibrant town.

It only takes a fiver spent in the right place to make a difference. The message is that if every adult in the town and surrounding villages spent a fiver in independent businesses instead of online or in supermarkets, we could add a whopping £2.6 million to the local economy.

The Fiver Fest event is designed to get you thinking and a chance to discover where you could spend that fiver with opportunities to try something new. You can view the booklet online this year by scanning a QR code in any of the businesses taking part or pick up a paper copy at Bridport Tourist Information Centre.

Look out for Fiver Fest posters and displays in shop windows.
