Many community groups have had to adapt and change recently, with some not being able to meet altogether.

This is no different for Bridport Camera Club, which until they can meet again in person, members are holding meetings via zoom.

However, this has enabled the club to attract quality speakers from all over the country without the obstacle of having to travel to Dorset.

The next speaker in the camera club's autumn programme will be Lara Jane Thorpe on Wednesday, October 7, who will share a wealth of experience in food photography.

This will be followed by award-wining fine art photographer Tim Booth who will talk on minimalism on October 21, photojournalist and Olympus 'visionary' Peter Dench with work from his archives on November 4, alternative photography with Lewis Bush on November 18, John Tilsley on working towards photographic distinctions on December 2 and Andrew Marland with images of our industrial heritage – The Industrial Tourist – on December 16.

For more information, email [email protected] or call the club secretary on 01935 892353.
