New town guide for Bridport and West to be launched this week

Bridport Town Council will be launching a new official town guide for Bridport and West Bay Town Guide at this week's Melplash Show.

The new guide is packed full of essential information for people who live, work and visit the area.  It includes details on everything that makes Bridport and West Bay special, its history, community events, attractions, green spaces, shops, things to do, useful numbers, community groups, etc. and also importantly a map.

Copies will be free to pick up from the Melplash Show on Thursday, August 24 and then from Bridport Tourist Information Centre. An online version will also be available to view at www.bridportandwestbay.co.uk

"We are very proud of what has been produced and thank all those that have been involved and helped to make it happen," said Terri Foxwell, manager of Bridport Tourist Information Centre.  

"Special thanks go to the 44 local businesses that showed their commitment and support of the town by advertising within it and making the publication possible."
