Children from Burton Bradstock Primary School were excited to officially open their new playground and trim trail on Friday.

Parents and friends were invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony at the end of the school day, with refreshments served while pupils got to try out the new equipment.

The new trim trail and playground surface has been a major overhaul for the school, funding by the government's sports premium and money raised by the Friends of Burton Bradstock Primary School, including their duck race and school fete.

A spokesperson for the school said: "The children are thrilled and have been having great fun using the new equipment."
